For those who love the smell of petrichor, don't miss Yaoli Ancient Town in Jingdezhen City, east China's Jiangxi Province. Yaoli is a town always associated with rain. It is also the birthplace of world-famous Jingdezhen ceramics. During the mid-Tang Dynasty (618-907), there were workshops for ceramic production here.
Photos taken on Wednesday show Huizhou-style houses at the foot of the mountains in Yaoli Ancient Town, Jingdezhen City, east China's #Jiangxi Province. Built-in the Western Han Dynasty (206 B.C.-AD24), there are 247 traditional buildings, with more than 3,000 residents.
