Iron rust decoration Buncheong ware is often associated with Jirisan and is sometimes called "Jirisan Buncheong ware"。yang mi sook's works are mainly based on Iron rust decoration Buncheong ware, which she creates every day and struggles with it every day.

All the red colours in the world have iron in them (Fe2O3) e.g. flowers, red clay and blood. The colour red is tough and it symbolises life, and there is red in Yang mi sook's paintings and clay, which are also life-giving.

Yang mi sook has continued to create her work for over 30 years with clay, glaze, flame and randomness. Experimenting with materials in ceramics takes a lot of time, and as a potter, Yang mi sook will continue to experiment.
