On July 30th, the lecture of "China in the Eyes of Egyptians: The Blending of Chinese and Egyptian Ceramic Cultures along 'the Belt and Road' " was held at China Cultural Center in Cairo which was sponsored by China Cultural Center in Cairo and Jingdezhen Municipal People’s Governments and organized by Cultural, Radio, Television Press, Publication and Tourism Bureau of Jingdezhen City. Mr. Liao Liqiang, Chinese Ambassador to Egypt and Plenipotentiary to the League of Arab States, attended the lecture and gave guidance. Ms. Hu Xuemei, Mayor of Jingdezhen Municipal People's Government, hosted the lecture and delivered a speech. Mr. Yang Ronghao, Minister-Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Egypt and Director of China Cultural Center in Cairo, delivered a welcome speech.

Ms. Hu Xuemei said that internationalization is the most distinctive feature of Jingdezhen. Jingdezhen has always been adhering to the international thinking, making every effort to promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning and striving to build a new international platform for cultural exchanges with other countries. At the end of the activity, she sincerely invited all friends to Jingdezhen to attend the 2023 China Jingdezhen International Ceramics Fairs, and join hands to create a better future of China-Arab friendship.

It is reported that the lecture of ”China in the Eyes of Egyptians: The Blending of Chinese and Egyptian Ceramic Cultures along ‘the Belt and Road’ ” is an important activity carried out by Jingdezhen Municipal Government delegation on cultural, economic and trade exchanges with Arab countries, which is not only a vivid practice to implement the spirit of the letter from President Xi Jinping to the Fifth Arab Art Festival, but also a powerful initiative to deepen the traditional friendship between China and Egypt and to  promote the cultural exchanges and mutual learning.
