Taoxichuan Art Center Lecture invited Artist-in-Residence Ale Moshenek to present a lecture on the theme of "Playing with glass and light " at 19:00 on Saturday, 8th June 2024 at the Taoxichuan Glass Studio - Hot Glass Performance Hall.
Ale Moshenek wants the viewer to interact with her work, the viewer to play with, touch and listen to her work and in this way to change the idea that glass is fragile, in this talk the artist will share her artistic work with glass and her one-of-a-kind pieces.

Ale Moshenek
This lecture is intended to be an open and interactive sharing session, where audience are encouraged to ask questions and engage at any point.
As a contemporary glass artist, Ale Moshenek specialises in fused glass, stained glass, and glass casting techniques. An ongoing concept in all her work is to exhibit She likes the way her work interacts with the viewer, allowing them to play, touch, listen and in this way change the idea that glass is fragile, so she started to introduce different techniques in her work.
‘I am fascinated by glass and its many uses and techniques. I specialise in making unique pieces for each venue and I design them with the environment they are in in mind, pieces that are practical works of art that can be manipulated at will, allowing the viewer to play with them and giving them that special touch that only glass and its magic can give us.’
