Jingdezhen has a long history of ceramic production, flourishing during the Song and Yuan dynasties and reaching its peak in the Ming and Qing dynasties, earning worldwide acclaim as one of the most renowned ceramic production centers. 2025 marks the tenth year since Jingdezhen began its bid for UNESCO World Cultural Heritage status. In 2025, Jiangxi Province will fully support Jingdezhen in establishing the National Ceramic Culture Inheritance and Innovation Pilot Zone and will mobilize efforts across the province to back Jingdezhen’s heritage application.
