Both asymptomatic and confirmed cases are tested positive in the coronavirus etiological diagnosis. But different from confirmed cases, asymptomatic cases do not have the symptoms of fever, cough, fatigue, or sore throat etc.. Nor do they have any chest CT imaging feature of COVID-19 pneumonia. For confirmed cases, cough, fever, or fatigue is typical in clinical diagnosis, even blood abnormality or other abnormality features in the imaging test will show. In constant observation, most asymptomatic patients will gradually show corresponding symptoms, while for some cases, even though the observation ends, none of the symptom will show.
It is noted that asymptomatic only means the patient does not have any symptom; its infectiveness cannot be directly evaluated. Asymptomatic patients are also required to go through etiological and epidemiological investigations to find out close contact, secondary close contact, and conduct contact tracing to search for involving places and high risk groups.
